The petitioners who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 120B, 406, 420, 506(1) of IPC and r/w Section 5 of TNPID (Financial Establishment 1997) in Crime Nos.1 of 2018, seek anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners are arrayed as A7 and A8 in this case. The defacto complainant joined Deepavali fund along with accused persons who conducted Deepavali fund and collected some amount and promised to repay the same. Since the petitioners did not repay the said amount the present case has been registered against the petitioners. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioners are innocent persons and they have been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that A1 to A4 were arrested and released on bail. Further the case pertains to huge amount of money. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

rap 5.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police and perused the materials available on record.

6.Considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
