ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.05.2024 in the light of the orders issued by the Government of G.O. (Ms) No.10, Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department dated 23.01.2023 within a reasonable period.

2. With the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, this Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that this Court may issue direction to the 2nd respondent to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 22.05.2024 within a specified time.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the 2nd respondent will consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on the same within a specified time.

5. In view of the above, there will be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.05.2024 and pass appropriate orders on the same in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
