Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st, 3rd and 4th respondents to remove the unauthorized construction of compound wall and gate by the 6th and 7th respondents, measuring an extent of 700 sq.ft. situated at Plot No.17 & 18, comprised in Survey No.508/1A, 5A, 515/1A, Pangajammal Nagar, Nandhivaram Village, Nandhivaram Guduvanchery Municipality, Chengalpattu Taluk, Kancheepuram District, within Sub-Resigration District of Guduvanchery, Registration District of South Chennai.

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.T.Ramachandran, learned counsel for the petition, Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 3, Mr.M.Vijay Anand, learned counsel for respondent
No.6 and Mr.V.Tamilamudhu, learned counsel for respondent No.7.
2. Directions are sought to remove the unauthorized construction of compound wall and gate by the sixth and seventh respondents in Plot Nos. 17 and 18.
3. We asked the learned counsel for the petitioner as to who are the owners of Plot Nos.17 and 18. The learned counsel for the petitioner replies that respondent No.6 is the owner of the said plots and respondent No.6 has carried out the construction of compound wall.
4. We fail to understand as to how the petitioner would be affected if the respondent No.6 carried out the construction of compound wall in his own plot. We are not going to entertain such petitions. No public cause is involved in the present matter. The writ petition, as such, is dismissed. There will be no order as to costs.
