Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent Nos.1 to 4 to consider the representations dated 15.10.2018 and 11.02.2021 on par with implementation of the proceedings of the 4th respondent in connection with appointment of fit person in Naa.Ka.No.3980/2011/A3/dated 09.09.2014 and also take over the Arulmigu Angalamman Thirukoil, Kampuliyampatty Perundurai Taluk, Erode District along with properties and bank accounts under the control of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Deaprtment. Mr.R.Venkatesh, learned Government Advocate accepts notice for the respondents and has received instructions in the matter.
2. The prayer of the petitioner is for a Mandamus directing the respondents, being the Principal Secretary of the Tourism, Culture and Religious Endowments Deaprtment /R1 and the officials of the HR & CE Department, R2 to R4 to consider representations dated 15.10.2018 and 11.02.2021on par with the implementation of proceedings of the 4th respondent in connection with appointment of fit person for the Arulmigu Angalamman Thirukoil, Kampuliyampatty Perundurai Taluk, Erode District, its properties and bank accounts.
2. Mr.R.Venkatesh, states that the representations have been taken up for hearing by the 4th respondent and enquiry is fixed on 25.03.2021. Notice has also been issued to the petitioner. This is recorded.
3. In light of the same, no further orders are required except to state that the hearing be conducted and orders passed within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of first hearing, in accordance with law. The mandamus was sought is thus achieved in part and the writ petition disposed. No costs.
