ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider and pass order on the petitioner representation dated 05.02.2024 for regularize the services of the petitioner with effect from dated of appointment with all consequential service and monetary benefits.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner was appointed as a Temporary Mazdoor on daily wage basis with effect from 01.12.2000 in Guindy Children's Park, Guindy National Park Range, Wildlife Division, and has been continuously discharging his duties without any break till date. The petitioner has been engaged on a full-time basis, performing duties of a permanent nature attached to the post of Mazdoor. Despite the petitioner having rendered long and uninterrupted service for several years, his services have not been

regularised till date and the respondents have continued to engage the petitioner as a daily wage employee. Hence, the petitioner made a representation dated 05.02.2024 to the respondents for regularising his services with effect from the date of appointment. However, the respondents have not considered the same till date. Challenging the same, the present Writ Petition is filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.02.2024 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three (3) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
