This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the 2nd respondent Police to expedite the investigation in Crime No.56 of 2025 dated 07.02.2025 pending on its file and secure the petitioner's daughter K.Dhanalakshmi aged 19 years without any further delay.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2. Perused the materials available on record.

3. Considering the limited prayer sought for in this petition, the second respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report with a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
