These applications have been filed by the 1st and 3rd defendants respectively to condone the delay of 62 days and 183 days respectively in filing the written statements in the present suit.

2. Since the 1st respondent / plaintiff has no serious objections and the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavits are being satisfied, the applications are allowed. The delay of 62 days and 183 days respectively in filing the written statements are condoned.

3. Registry is directed take the written statements on file, if they are otherwise in order and place it on record.

4. The endorsement of the Assistant Registrar shows that the summon was served on the 2nd defendant. However, none appeared on behalf of the 2nd defendant.
