ORDER

This civil revision petition has been filed seeking to direct the Principal Family Court, Coimbatore, to complete the trial in H.M.O.P.No.573 of 2016 within a time frame as fixed by this Court. 2.

It is seen that H.M.O.P.No.573 of 2016 was filed before the Principal Family Court, Coimbatore, by the petitioner/husband seeking for granting desolation of marriage. The marriage between the petitioner/husband and the respondent/wife was solemnized on 11.06.2003 at Sri Ramakrishna Kalyana Mandapam, Coimbatore, as per Hindu rites and custom.

In H.M.O.P. proceedings, counter statement was filed by the respondent/wife on 27.06.2017. Thereafter, it could be seen that the matter was posted for evidence.

According to the learned counsel for the petitioner/husband, the petitioner/husband's side witness was closed during the year 2019 itself and the petitioner was examined-in-chief and his cross-examination is in the mid way. She submitted that the trial Court ought to have conducted 2/4

the trial on a day to day basis and completed the same. 5.

This matter is pending from 2017 onwards for evidence and there is no progress in the same.

In such view of the matter, this civil revision petition is disposed of with a direction to the trial Court to complete the trial in H.M.O.P.No.573 of 2016 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
