In the said dispute, petitioner was brutally attacked by his brother's wife Violet Mary and her brothers, on his head, face and chest. As a result, he suffered serious injuries. However, respondent police has registered the First Information Report only for the offences under Sections 341, 294(b), 324 and 506(2) of IPC. 4. In light of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) and also the undertaking given by him that final report will be filed under appropriate provisions of law considering the nature of the allegations and the injuries suffered by the victim, weapons used etc., this Court finds that there is no need to order transfer of investigation in this case.
