Respondent Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, call for the records pertains to the impugned order passed by the respondent bearing Reference No.17012001/TOO/A/Estt/2018/855 dated 23.07.2018 and quash the same, consequently direct the respondent to issue Permanent Integrated certificate to the petitioner to pursue Higher Studies, within a stipulated time.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR,J.) The petitioner has filed the instant writ petition challenging the impugned order dated 23.07.2018 passed by the respondent rejecting her claim for issuance of permanent integrated certificate to pursue higher studies.
2. The learned Additional Government Pleader (Pondy) appearing for the respondent has strongly objected to the maintainability of the writ petition by stating that the petitioner is having an alternative and effective remedy of appeal before the Deputy Collector (Revenue), North. Therefore, the petitioner, if aggrieved, has to go before the appellate authority.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has also not controverted the said submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent and seeks liberty to file an appeal before the appellate authority.
4. In view of the above, we direct the petitioner to file an appeal before the Deputy Collector (Revenue), North within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With this observation, the writ petition stands dismissed. Consequently, W.M.P.No.12319 of 2019 is also dismissed. No costs.
