ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to dispose of the Appeal filed by the petitioner.

The case of the petitioner is that he is the owner of the property and the Patta was issued by the 4th respondent in favour of one Mr.Seetharama Chettiyar. When the petitioner objected for the same, he was informed that he has to file an appeal before the 3rd respondent. The petitioner filed an Appeal before the 3rd respondent and the same is pending for consideration. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court, seeking for appropriate directions.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents. 4.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief that has been sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the 3rd respondent to dispose of the Appeal filed by the petitioner on its own merits and in accordance with law after giving an opportunity to the interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the 3rd respondent along with copy of the Appeal and also a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
