2. The petitioner challenges the final demand bearing Nos.043/032/0066 and 043/032/00651 dated Nil calling upon the petitioner to remit property tax for the 1st and 2nd half of 2017-18 and 2018-19 and 2nd half of 2017-18 and 1st and 2nd half of 2018-19.

3. Learned counsel for the respondent fairly states that no show cause notice has been issued prior to raising of the impugned demands.

4. In these circumstances, I have no other alternative except to quash the present notices and accordingly do so. Liberty is, however, granted to the respondent to initiate proceedings for collection of property tax from the petitioner in accordance with law.
