The petitioner has filed the Writ Petition praying to issue a WRIT OF MANDAMUS, directing the first respondent to pass an order on the representation made by the petitioner dated 10.11.2018 to give interest from the year 2009 to till date towards the acquisition of the petitioner's property.
2.By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner made his representation on 10.11.2018, to the third respondent for grant of interest from the year 2009, till the date of payment. But, no order has been passed by the third respondent. Hence, the present writ petition is filed. 4.The learned Government Advocate would submit that the said representation submitted by the petitioner on 10.11.2018, will be considered in accordance with law, if the petitioner is otherwise the party concern.
5.Without expressing any opinion on merits, this Court is inclined to direct the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.11.2018, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
