O R D E R

Aggrieved over the long pendency of the petition filed under Sections 10(2)(i), 10(3)(a)(i) and 10(2)(vii) of the Pondicherry Buildings (Lease and Rent Control) Act, 1969, in H.R.C.O.P.No.57 of 2012, on the file of Rent Controller (PDM) at Pondicherry, the petitioner has come up before this Court.

2.There is some dispute between the parties regarding the title of the property in question. Both the parties are claiming that they are the title holders of the property.

3. In the instant case, the petition in H.R.C.O.P.No.57 of 2012 is pending for the past five years, without there being any progress. Therefore, the learned Rent Controller-Cum-Principal District Munsif, Pondicherry, is directed to pass appropriate order as to its maintainability and if it is found maintainable, to dispose of H.R.C.O.P.No.57 of 2012, on merits in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.

4. The Civil Revision Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
