This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.02.2022 for deleting the wrong entry made in the Revenue Records as "Anadeenam" in respect of the land comprised in Survey No.1/3 situated at Puliyur Village.

2.The case of the petitioner is that he is the owner of the property in Survey No.1/3, situated at Puliyur Village, and the same has been registered before the Sub-Registrar Office, Thiruvallur, vide Document No.3431/1981. Thus, from the date of

purchase of the property, the petitioner and his family members are in possession and enjoyment of the same as absolute owners. While so, the petitioner approached the Tahsildar for transfer of Patta. The petitioner came to know that the property has been wrongly classified as "Anadeenam land" and the same was assessed in the Revenue Records. Thereafter, the petitioner filed a Writ Petition in W.P.No.8486 of 2016 before this Court, seeking to direct the 2nd respondent therein to grant Patta for the lands in Survey No.1/3, Puliyur Village. This Court dismissed the said Writ Petition by order dated 26.09.2019, and the petitioner was directed to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. Therefore, the petitioner made a detailed representation dated 14.02.2022 before the 1st respondent, to rectify the wrong entry made in land records as "Anadeenam". However, till date, no order has been passed. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition.

3.Though very many grounds have been raised, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.02.2022 and pass orders on the same, within a particular time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

4.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has no objection for said order being passed. 5.In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.02.2022 within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and after the receipt of the result of such representation, the 2nd respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of ten weeks thereafter.

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
