Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus directing the 3rd respondent to grant the emergent leave fifteen days [15 days] to the detenu Babu son of Subramani, aged about 35 years confined in Central Prison, Vellore for attending the death ceremony of his wife Parimala residing at Puliyampatti village, Thandarampattu Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by C.T.SELVAM, J.) Petitioner, sister-in-law of detenu herein, viz., Babu son of Subramani, aged 35 years, has filed the present petition seeking leave for 15 days to the detenu to attend the death ceremony.

2.In keeping with the order of this Court dated 21.02.2018, it is represented on either side that detenu, viz., Babu son of Subramani, has surrendered before the Superintendent of Central Prison, Vellore.
