Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus to directing the Respondent to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 20/12/2013 and to pass appropriate orders for treating the period from 07/08/2012 to 01/12/2013 as duty period with payment of salary and other consequential benefits including sanctioning of annual increment with arrears of salary within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Though, the relief sought for in this writ petition is larger in nature, the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner restricted the prayer by stating that it is suffice if a direction is issued to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner to the first respondent on 20.12.2013.

2.The writ petitioner is now working as Second Grade Teacher and though she was transferred to some other place, she has not joined in the said post. However, subsequently at a latter point of time, the writ petitioner joined in the another place. But the interregnum period has not been regularized and therefore the writ petitioner is unable to get her service benefits. submitted a representation to the second respondent on 02.12.2013.

3.Thus, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No Costs.
