ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the third respondent to consider the petitioner's e-mail representation dated 22.02.2023 and grant the petitioner the tender in Ref.No.1993/T4/TPT/2022 dated 28.11.2022 for the 30KL capacity Road Milk Tankers (RMT) of Trichy Union.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the third respondent on 28.11.2022 published a notice inviting tender in Ref.No.1993/T4/TPT/2022. Pursuant to which, the petitioner participated in the tender and and he become the successful bidder, however, till date no order was passed by the third respondent. Hence, he sent a representation to the third respondent on 22.02.2023 to grant the tender. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition is filed for appropriate directions.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that, it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's e-mail representation dated 22.02.2023 and grant the tender within a time frame that may fixed by this Court.

4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 2 to 5 submitted a letter dated 27.03.2023, in which, it has been stated that the petitioner is the L1 for the Road Milk Tanker Tender in Trichy 30 KL capacity tanker and his quote is under consideration and the said file is under process for issuing work order.

In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court, directs the third respondent to consider the petitioner's e-mail representation dated 22.02.2023 in respect of tender in Ref.No.1993/T4/TPT/2022 dated 28.11.2022 for the 30KL capacity Road Milk Tankers (RMT) of Trichy Union, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
