ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the third respondent to defreeze the petitioner's bank account bearing No.255101000003738 maintained with Indian Overseas Bank, Valayapatti Branch, Namakkal District and to permit the petitioner to operate the said bank account.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. In view of the relief sought for by the petitioner, the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing at the admission stage itself. Since no adverse order is to be passed as against the respondents, notice to them is dispensed with.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that he is a Function and Program Organiser and the subject bank account is only a lawful business operational account and the same was freezed by the third respondent on the instructions of the fourth respondents without any valid reason. The respondent instead of freezing the disputed amount of Rs.43,413/- which was already lien-marked by the bank, the bank has defreezed his account, for which he made representations

on 03.03.2025 & 14.11.2025 to the respondents 2, 3 & 4 respectively. However, there was no action on the part of the respondents and hence, the present Writ Petition.

4. In view of the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.11.2025 and to pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
