Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents not to erect any of the junction pillar box in from of the petitioner's plot and also shift the transformer which is erected in front of the petitioner's plot Nos.77 & 78 situated at 3rd street, Radha Nagar, Valasaravakkam, Chennai-600 087 and to fix the same adjacent place of Government land based on the petitioner's representation dated 21.01.2021. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondents not to erect any of the junction pillar box in front of the petitioner's plot and also shift the transformer, which is erected in front of the petitioner's plot No.77 & 78 situated at 3rd Street, Radha Nagar, Valasaravakkam, Chennai - 600 087, and to fix the same adjacent to the government land based on the petitioner's representation dated 21.01.2021.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the respondents are directed to consider the request made by the petitioner on payment of requisite charges for shifting the transformer on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
