The prayer sought for in the present petition is to call for the records and quash the C.C.No.320 of 2016 on the file of XVII Learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai against the petitioner.

2. Pending Criminal Original Petition, the defacto complainant and the petitioner herein have amicably resolved the dispute between themselves and accordingly, they have entered into a compromise and filed a Joint Compromise Memo dated 30.08.2017.

3. The defacto complainant as well as the petitioner are personally present before this Court and also have been identified. An affidavit of the defacto complainant dated 30.08.2017 is also filed to the effect that the defacto complainant has no objection, if the present Criminal Original Petition is allowed.

4. Accordingly, the proceedings in C.C.No.320 of 2016 on the file of XVII Learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai is quashed. The Criminal Original Petition is allowed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
