Heard Mr. T.Ravi, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. S.Ravichandran, Learned Additional Government Pleader (HR & CE) takes notice on behalf of the Respondents and perused the materials placed on record, 1/4

apart from the pleadings of the parties.

2. The writ petitioner has made a complaint to the respondents to take disciplinary action on some of the employees. Since no action has been taken, he has filed the writ of mandamus.

3. It is settled law that it is within the domain of the employer to take disciplinary action against such employees and third parties even if they send a complaint, cannot insist that disciplinary action should be taken against such employees.

4. In that view of the matter, I see no merits in the writ petition. The writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
