This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to regularize the service of the petitioner as typist in time scale with effect from 27.05.2000 in terms of G.O.Ms.No.125 dated 27.05.1999 and to pay all attendance benefits.

2. Though this writ petition is of the year 2012, no counter filed by the respondents.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, it is noticed that the case of the petitioner was already considered by the 2nd respondent and the same was recommended to the 1st respondent for considering the case of the petitioner for regularization in terms of G.O.Ms.125 dated 27.05.1999. However, the recommendation is stated to be still pending for consideration before the 1st respondent.

4. In the light of the above, this Court is of the considered view that it is not necessary for this Court to go into the merits of this case at this stage as the proposals submitted by the 2nd respondent is still pending for consideration before the 1st respondent.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent to take steps forthwith for considering the recommendation made by the 2nd respondent through official letter in Na.Ka.No.C1/1357/2011 dated 10.05.2012 and pass appropriate orders by duly taking into consideration the orders issued by the Government in G.O.Ms.No.125 dated 27.05.1999 as expeditiously as possible at any rate within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
