ORDER
This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking to modify condition 6(B) imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.1664 of 2026, dated 27.01.2026.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners were arrested on 10.11.2025 in connection with Crime No. 30 of 2025. Subsequently, they were granted bail by this Court on 27.01.2026, subject to the
condition that:
"The petitioners shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.30 am., for a period of four weeks and thereafter as and when required for interrogation."
3. It is further submitted that the petitioners were also remanded in connection with Crime Nos. 403 and 66 of 2025, wherein bail was granted by this Court vide orders dated 23.01.2026 and 27.01.2026 in Crl.O.P.Nos.1333 and 1561 of 2026, respectively, with similar reporting conditions before the police station located at Arakkonam.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioners contended that the petitioners are facing extreme practical difficulty in appearing simultaneously before two different police stations located at Arakkonam and Ranipet. On this ground, he sought a modification of the reporting condition.
5. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), appearing for the respondent police, submitted that the petitioners have been complying with the conditions regularly to date.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, and the physical impossibility of appearing in two places at once, this Court is inclined to modify
the condition imposed in Crl.O.P.No.1664 of 2026.
7. Accordingly, the condition is modified as follows: "The petitioners shall appear before the Ranipet Police Station, Ranipet District daily at 10.30 a.m., for a period of three weeks and thereafter as and when required for interrogation instead of Arakkonam PEW Police Station, Ranipet District."
8. This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered accordingly. 20-02-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order JAI To
