ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S. NAGAMUTHU,J.,) The petitioner is the husband of one Shanthi, aged about 47 years. According to the petitioner, Shanthi has been missing from 22.09.2016 onwards. Since she has not been secured despite the complaint made, the petitioner has come up with this habeas corpus petition.

Today, when the matter has been taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, from https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the second respondent, submitted that the investigation done so far has revealed that the detenue eloped with the third respondent, aged about 35 years and further submitted that the third respondent is already married thrice.

Since investigation revealed that it is a case of elopement, we find that there is no illegal confinement. Therefore, no relief could be granted. Accordingly, the habeas corpus petition is dismissed.
