Crl.M.P. No.3543 of 2023 in Crl.O.P. No. 2517 of 2023 Crl.M.P. No. 3543 of 2023 in Crl.O.P.No.2517 of 2023 T.V.THAMILSELVI, J.
This petition has been filed to extend the time limit for a period of four weeks to surrender and execute sureties before the learned XVII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai in pursuance with the order passed in Crl.O.P. No. 32517 of 2022.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court granted anticipatory bail to the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.32517 of 2022 dated 07.02.2023. He would further submit that he is a monthly salaried person and he do not have financial capacity to deposit the amount as directed by this court. Hence, he could not execute the sureties within two weeks and the same is neither willful nor wanton. Accordingly, he prayed to extend the time for complying the condition.
3. Heard both sides.
4. Considering the above submissions, this court is inclined to extend the time for the period of two weeks to execute the sureties before the concerned court from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 17.03.2023 rpp 1/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
