ORDER

This contempt petition is filed for the noncompliance of the order made in W.P.No.10840 of 2017, dated 27.04.2017.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.R.Arunmozhi, learned Standing Counsel, appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent had complied with the directions of this court, by passing an order dated 25.05.2017.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the respondent has complied with the directions of this Court, the Highways Department had taken possession of the bunk shop from the petitioner and the possession is lying with the Highways Department, therefore, liberty may be given to the petitioner to challenge the action of the Highways Department, in accordance with law.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, since the respondent had complied with the orders of this court, the Contempt Petition is closed. It is open to the petitioner to challenge the action of the Highways Department, in accordance with law.
