Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pay the earned leave salary/leave surrender pay to the petitioner, to which he is entitled for, along with interest at the reasonable rate fixed by this Court and time bound promotion to the petitioner's by considering his representations dated 19.02.2018, 26.02.2020, 06.08.2020 and 08.10.2024 within the time frame fixed by this Court.

The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus directing the respondents to pay the earned leave salary/leave surrender pay to the petitioner, to which he is entitled for, along with interest at the reasonable rate fixed by this Court, and for time bound promotion to the petitioner's by considering his representations dated 19.02.2018, 26.02.2020, 06.08.2020 and 08.10.2024, within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that he has given representations dated 19.02.2018, 26.02.2020, 06.08.2020 and 08.10.2024, seeking to pay the earned leave salary/leave surrender and time bound promotion to him, and such representations are pending with the respondents.

4. At this juncture, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would fairly submit that they will consider the said representations of the petitioner within a reasonable time.

5. In view of the above submission, without going to the merits of this Writ Petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 19.02.2018, 26.02.2020, 06.08.2020 and 08.10.2024, and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
