ORDER

When the matter came up for hearing on 16.03.2023, this Court passed the following order:

As against the order passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Jayamkondam, dismissing the application filed under Section 319 of Cr.P.C., to include certain persons as accused persons, during the course of trial, the defacto complainant and the State have filed separate Criminal Revision cases in Crl.R.C.No.361 of 2018 and Crl.R.C.No.836 of 2018.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner in Crl.R.C.No.361 of 2018 sought for some time to take instructions as to whether the petitioner is alive. 3.The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the State sought for some time to take instruction as to whether the main case in C.C.No.345 of 2006 is pending or it has already been disposed of.

4.Post these Criminal Revision Cases under the caption 'For Orders' on 23.03.2023.

5.The Registry is directed to print in the cause list Crl.R.C.No.836 of 2018 along with Crl.R.C.No.361 of 2018. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) brought to the notice of this Court that the main case itself ended in an acquittal in S.C.No.7 of 2017, on the file of the learned Principal District and Sessions Court, Ariyalur, by judgment and order dated 19.04.2022. The copy of the judgment was also placed before this Court. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner in Crl.R.C.No.361 of 2018 submitted that the defacto complainant also died in the meantime. 4.In view of the above development, nothing survives in these criminal revision cases and accordingly, both the cases are closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
