Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus to call for the records relating to the proceedings o the 2nd respondent in C3/D.O./06/2021 dated 17.02.2021 against the petitioner's wife Reena, wife of Baskar, aged about 38 years, and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents herein to produce the detenue, who is detained under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 currently confined at Special Prison for Women, Vellore, before this Court and set her at liberty.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in C3/D.O./06/2021 dated 17.02.2021 , detaining his wife as "Bootlegger" under Section 2(b) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) reports that the order of detention passed against the detenue has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.1746, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XI) Department, dated 15.04.2021 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
