ORDER

Seeking a direction to the first respondent police to register the complaint lodged on 03.01.2015, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent police.

3.It is seen that the petitioner got married to the opposite party/2nd respondent in the year 1990. It is alleged that in the year 2007, the opposite party/second respondent had married for the second time. Bigamy is a non cognizable offence and hence no direction to register FIR can be given.

4.Under such circumstances, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out her remedies in the manner known to law.
