PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records in Na.Ka.1514/Aa/2012-1 dated 29.10.2012 and 16.11.2012 on the 1 to 3 respondents and quash the same and direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner as Office Assistant in Veterinary Animal Husbandry Department on the basis of interview process held on 28.07.2012 vide Na.Ka.1512/Aa/2012 dated 13.07.2012. O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents to appoint the petitioner as Office Assistant in Veterinary Animal Husbandry Department.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner regulated his name in the Employment 2/4

Exchange. After 14 years, he was sponsored to appear for interview. However, he was not issued with any order and once again, the third respondent called for an interview on 29.10.2012. Thereafter, the petitioner did not receive any order.

4. On written instruction, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's age was barred and as such, he was not selected to the post of Office Assistant in the Veterinary Animal Husbandry Department.

5. In view of the above submission, this writ petition is devoid of merits and is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed.
