ORDER
The tenant in R.C.O.P.No.41 of 2013 faces successive orders of eviction both before the Rent Controller, and in R.C.A.No14/2017 before the Rent Control Appellate Authority.
2. The tenant / revision petitioner has voluntarily filed an affidavit before the Court, undertaking to vacate the premises by 31.05.2023. The said affidavit of undertaking is recorded.
3. The tenant makes a prayer that the lease agreement may be renewed till 31.05.2023, to enable renewal of GST registration without prejudice to the undertaking he has given today.
4. The counsel for the landlord / respondent endorses his agreement and submitted that the renewal agreement will be given without prejudice to the undertaking given, and added that the concession which the landlord now extends for renewing the lease deed is confined to renewal of GST registration, and it should not be construed as renewal of lease deed for the 2/4
purposes other than GST registration.
5. The statement is recorded, and the tenant also agrees to it, and he has filed a memo to that effect, and the same is taken on record.
6. Recording the undertaking of affidavit and the memo filed by the tenant, this revision is disposed of. The tenant/revision petitioner is directed to hand over vacant possession of the property latest by 31.05.2023. No costs.
