ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed to call for and quash the order dated 12.09.2013 passed by the 2nd respondent in Ref.CNC HRMS E16 6242 MS and Consequently directing the respondents to correct the date of birth of the petitioner as 22.10.1956 in her service records considering her birth certificate and the decree dated 17.12.1983 made in O.S.7711/1982, VII, Assistant City Civil Court, Chennai. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2.Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner filed this petition at the relevant point of time for alteration of date of birth in the service records, however, the petitioner has since been relieved from service in the year 2014 itself and, therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition and, therefore, this petition may be closed.
3. On perusal of records , it reveals that during the pendency of the writ petition, the petitioner had retired from the services of the Respondent Bank on 31.01.2014 and subsequently collected her terminal benefits. In such circumstances, nothing survives for adjudication in the present petition.
