ORDER

This Court, while disposing of the Writ Petition in W.P.No.9529 of 2013, by order dated 19.09.2016, directed the respondent to consider the name of the petitioner for promotion as Assistant Divisional Engineer under Rule 39(d) of Tamil Nadu State and Subordinate Service Rules and to pass appropriate orders, within a period of two weeks.

2.Alleging non-compliance of the said order dated 19.09.2016, the present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up, the learned Government Advocate by producing a copy of the proceedings dated 03.04.2018 issued by the respondent, submitted that the order of this Court has been duly complied with by the respondent.

4.Since the order of this Court has been complied with, nothing survives for adjudication in this contempt petitioner and accordingly, the same is closed.
