ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to restore the petitioner's existing patta No.1900 for the property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 17.07.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner seeks for restoration of the existing patta No.1900 in her name for the subject property. She had given a representation on 17.07.2025 to the official respondents for the said purpose. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4. Since no adverse order is passed against the 5th respondent in this writ petition, notice to the 5th respondent is dispensed with by this Court.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections, if any, from the 5th respondent, the neighbouring land owners as well as any third party, whom the 2nd respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

5. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation, dated 17.07.2025 seeking for restoration of the petitioner's existing patta No.1900 for the property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, after giving due consideration to the documents produced by the petitioner, and after hearing the objections, if Page No.3 of 6

any, from the 5th respondent, the neighbouring land owners and any other third party, whom the 2nd respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
