[Order was delivered by R.SUBBIAH,J] The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to pass orders on the application of the petitioner dated 23.07.2018 for issuance of community certificate to the petitioner's children viz., 1) N.Akilan and 2)N.Santhosh that they belong to Kurumans (ST) Community based upon the Community Certificate already issued to the petitioner's blood relatives M.Parthiban and B.Perumal which was verified by State Committee in Proceedings No.9654/CVIII/2014 dated 30.03.2015.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Advocate for the respondent.
3. This Court, considering the limited scope of prayer sought for and without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application dated 23.07.2018 in accordance with law and pass orders on or before 15.04.2019. It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the claim of the petitioner and it is for the respondent to deal with the same. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
