The petitioner has filed this petition, forbearing the respondents and their subordinates from interfering with the day-to-day affairs of their club and playing the game of rummy along with carom board, chess and table tennis in the premises https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
situated at No.709, D.Kumaran Nagar, Varapatty, Sultanpettai Post, Sulur Taluk, Coimbatore District.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has submitted that so far there is no complaint received against the club. As long as the petitioner runs the club in lawful manner, the respondents will not interfere with the club. If the petitioner conducts any betting or games involving chances in the club, the respondents shall take action against the petitioner's club.
4. In view of the aforesaid submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, this Court passes the following order:
"The petitioner's club is permitted to play rummy etc. games and the respondents shall not interfere with the affairs of the club. If the petitioner conducts any illegal games, the respondents can very well interfere and take action against the petitioner's club, in accordance with law."
5. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above terms. No costs.
