ORDER

Seeking permission to conduct cultural programme in the event of "Malipattu Arulmigu Sree Thosalamman Temple Festival at K.V.Kuppam Taluk, Vellore District, the petitioner made a representation dated 25.02.2020 to the respondent. As the same has not been considered, the present Criminal Original petition has been filed.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. The petitioner seeks police protection and permission to conduct the cultural programme to be held on 07.03.2020.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that even in the last year, the petitioner was permitted to conduct the cultural programme and also permitted to perform the Adal Padal Nigalchi, in which, there occurred two incidents and in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respect of which, two cases have been registered as against the accused persons.

5. Considering the above facts and circumstance of the case, the respondent is directed to consider the complaint dated 25.02.2020 and pass appropriate orders on merits forthwith.

6. In view of the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
