Mr.M.Shahjahan,SGP COMMON ORDER These writ petitions have been filed to direct the respondent to issue Auto Rickshaw permit to operate the vehicle within a radius of 30 km. from Salem Town Old Bus stand, Salem, Salem District, based on the petitioners' application dated 12.01.2026, submitted in the form of CCPA along with the

prescribed fee, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Mr.M.Shahjahan, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

3. No prejudice will be caused to the respondent if the aforesaid application dated 12.01.2026 of the petitioner is considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Accordingly, these writ petitions are disposed of by directing the respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioners' application dated 12.01.2026 seeking for grant of Auto Rickshaw permit to operate the vehicle within the radius of 30 km. distance from Salem Town Old Bus stand, Salem, Salem District, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioners, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the aforesaid application of the petitioners. No Costs.
