ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to grant assignment of the property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition in favour of the petitioner, based on her representation dated 26.12.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner claims that she belongs to the category of 'landless poor' landless poor. She had given a representation dated 26.12.2025 to the respondents seeking for assignment in her favour for the subject property. She also claims that she has been in possession of the same for several years.

3. Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. No prejudice will be caused to the respondents, if the aforesaid representation of the petitioner is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the petitioner and also the scheme for assignment of land to the landless poor, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's representation dated 26.12.2025 seeking for grant of assignment in her favour for the subject property, after giving due consideration to the

supporting documents filed by her and also the scheme for assignment of land to the landless poor, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the aforesaid representation of the petitioner. No Costs. 27-02-2026 RKM To
