ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the respondents and in particular, the 5th respondent to cancel the patta granted in favour of the 8th respondent with respect to the subject property. 2.

Heard Mr.D.Murugan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.Karthick Jagannath, learned Government Advocate for respondents 1 to 7.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court and taking note of the allegations that have been made by the petitioner in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the 5th respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 16.12.2023 on its own merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity to the 8th respondent and pass final orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
