Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner representation dated 14.03.2015 for cancellation of UDR patta.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that the petitioner is having a share in respect of the landed property admeasuring an extent of 99.50 Hectares in Survey No.39/2A in Mandikulam Patti Village, Chikkalur Post, Harur Taluk, Dharmapuri District. His father has sold the property in favour of third party vide sale deed dated 27.06.2000 and patta is also been transferred in the name of the said person. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation to the first respondent praying for cancellation of patta granted in favour of the third party to whom, his father has sold the property. Since he has not been favoured with any response, came forward to file this writ petition.

3.This Court heard the submissions of Mr.M.Ravi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Government Pleader who accepts notice for the first respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.This Court taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for and without going into the merits of the representation, directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 14.03.2015, in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible and not later than twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioner as well as to the respondents 2 and 3. 5.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
