ORDER

The petitioner alleging non-compliance of the order dated 17.8.2015, made in W.P.No.5924 of 1997, filed this contempt petition.

2.Mrs.P.Kavitha, learned Government Advocate, produced the proceedings of the Director of Technical Education, Chennai, dated 4.2.2016, in No.40252/C1/2009, and would submit that pursuant to the orders passed by this

Court, the representation of the petitioner has been considered and the above said proceedings have been passed conferring benefits upon the petitioner, and prays for closure of this contempt petition.

3.Per contra, the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, would submit that the proceedings of the Director of Technical Education dated 4.2.2016, is not in consonance with G.O.Ms.No.841, Education (I) Department, dated 6.9.1993, and proper fixation and fitment of salary have not been done and prays for appropriate orders. 4.This Court while disposing of the writ petition, has directed the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the claim of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in the light of the above cited Government Order. However, if the petitioner is aggrieved by the present proceedings, she is always at liberty to work out her remedy in accordance with law.

5.Therefore, the contempt petition is closed subject to above observation. No costs.
