This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to call for the entire records which culminated in registration of the First Information Report dated 27.12.2019 in Crime No. RC MAI 2019 A 0022 on the file of the first respondent and to quash the same insofar as the petitioner/first accused is concerned.

2. When the matter is taken up today, the learned Special Public Prosecutor would submit that the investigation has been completed in this matter and the final report has also been filed before the XI Additional Sessions Judge / Special Judge for CBI Cases, Chennai and the Calender Case number is yet to be assigned.

3. At this juncture, the learned Counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the petition with liberty to challenge the final report if necessary.

4. In view of the above submissions, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn granting liberty to the petitioner to file a petition challenging the final report if necessary. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions is closed.
