2020-02-25Honourable Mr Justice V. Bharathidasan2 pages

C.M.P. 17571 of 2016 and C.R.P.NPD. No.SR 78877 of 2016 V.BHARATHIDASAN, J.

Earlier, by an order dated 25.01.2017, this Court had directed the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu to verify whether the counsel, Mr. Jayendra Krishnan, who alleged to have attested the affidavit, has enrolled himself as an Advocate before the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu.

2. Pursuant to the abovesaid order, the counsel appearing for the Bar Counsel of Tamil Nadu, has produced a certificate showing that the counsel, Mr. Jayendra Krishnan, who alleged to have attested the affidavit, has enrolled himself as an advocate with the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu on 28.04.2004 in Roll No.751/2004. Hence, it is clear that the counsel is enrolled as an advocate before the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu.

3. This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 28 days in filing the above C.R.P. Even though notice served on the respondent and the name also printed in the cause list, none appeared on behalf of respondent.

4. Being satisfied with the reasons set out in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, I am inclined to allow this Petition and accordingly, the delay is condoned.

4. Registry is directed to number the Civil Revision Petition, if the papers are otherwise found to be in order, and post the matter for admission on 28.02.2020.
