O R D E R

This Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the first and second respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and for operation of his

business peacefully in his property situate in Anaimalai Hills (Kundrugal), Valparai Taluk, Pollachi in S.F.No.12/6A1A1B measuring about 66.89 acres on the basis of his complaint against his wife Praveena and son Dhanush Krishnan dated 10.01.2022 and 27.01.2022.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that there appears to be dispute between the petitioner on one side and his wife and son on the other side. On the complaint given by the petitioner, in respect of the dispute pending between the parties, investigation in Crime No.66 of 2021 and 13 of 2022 are pending. Earlier the respondent had referred the matter to the RDO for enquiry and the RDO enquiry concluded on 09.03.2022. He would further submit that the respondent would conduct due enquiry based on the representation of the Petitioner dated 10.01.2022 and 27.01.2022, after giving notice to all the parties concerned. Based on the outcome of the enquiry, the respondent will take appropriate action for providing police protection.

3.Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of with the direction to the second respondent to complete the enquiry in resepct of the Petitioner's representation dated 10.01.2022 and 27.01.2022 within a period of four *weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear the jurisdictional Deputy Superintendent of Police shall monitor the equiry conducted by the second respondent.
