ORDER

When the matter came up today, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent produced a copy of the order dated 23.05.2024, thereby, a speaking order has been passed, giving the details of the payments made. It can 1 / 4

be seen that it is the contention of the respondents that when the last of the payments was made on 30.03.2024, there was no other payment which was due to the petitioner.

2. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the contempt petitioner would submit that the same is factually incorrect and, as a matter of fact, the non-implementation of the punishment amount which is due to the petitioner has not been paid.

3. That may be so. As far as the Contempt Petition is concerned, the direction of the Court is to examine the representation of the petitioner, pass orders thereon in accordance with the law, and pay the amounts if any are found due by the respondents. If some other amount is wrongly not paid, then it is for the petitioner to take fresh steps against the same.
