ORDER
The civil revision petition is filed seeking a direction to Principal District Judge, Tiruvallur to register and adjudicate the unnumbered IA's filed on 21.01.2026 with the prayer to advance the hearing in main GWOP.No.207 of 2025 from 11.02.2026 to 29.01.2026.
2. It is seen from the typed set of papers that application filed by the petitioner seeking advancement of hearing was returned by the concerned court
on 21.01.2026 and aggrieved by the same, the present revision has been filed.
3. The instant IA has been filed to advance the hearing in main OP from 11.02.2026 to 29.01.2026. Since the next date of hearing for OP is already over, the prayer sought for in the IA that was filed on 21.01.2026 has become infructuous. Therefore, there is no necessity to number the said IA.
4. In the present revision, the petitioner also seeks a direction to pass orders on unnumbered petition filed by him seeking interim custody of minor child. The petitioner is entitled to maintain a revision only in respect of one prayer and he cannot maintain a revision for multiple prayers. Further, in the prayer 'B', the petitioner has not mentioned the details of the un-numbered application filed by him. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to consider the prayer 'B' in the revision. If petitioner is so advised, it is open to the petitioner to file a separate revision in respect of prayer 'B'. As far as prayer 'A' is concerned, the civil revision petition stands dismissed.
