O R D E R
The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to conduct an enquiry in respect of fake documents created by the respondents 3 to 17 in respect of S.No.233 Part, Block No.28, T.S.No.134, Koyambedu Village, Aminjikarai Taluk, Chennai District, after giving notice to them and cancel all the Sale Deeds by acting in accordance with the mandatory procedure prescribed in Circular No.67 dated 03.11.2011.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the 2nd respondent had issued notice dated 12.04.2017 to appear for an enquiry on 17.04.2017, the 2nd respondent has not conducted the enquiry yet.
3.Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for the respondents 1 & 2, submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to conduct the enquiry and pass orders, after giving notice to the respondents 3 to 17 in accordance with law.
4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to conduct the enquiry, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the respondents 3 to 17 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a twelve of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
